My sister Eva has been hiding a secret! She has a tomato named after her ... called "Eva's Purple Ball", this heirloom dates back to the late 1800's and was first grown in the Black Forest region of Germany.
Isn't that interesting? Eva grew up a Hoosier, but now resides very close to the Black Forest! Hmm ... I wonder if she has been eating this type of tomato where she lives in France! Eva?? Is it true?
Katie! I'm touched. This is a beautiful specimen! Have you the ability to get some seeds for this 'eva's purple ball' tomato? If not, I'll see if there are some available here for you! Love you!
